We source the freshest fruit packed chock full of vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber for juicing, and we cut down on transportation emissions and energy use by obtaining citrus as close as we can to our plants in Arizona, Florida and California. We extract juice from the citrus in our sustainable manufacturing facilities, with energy-efficient lighting and pasteurization, waste reduction, and water-conserving processes.
After we’ve crafted the tastiest beverages to serve as the highest-quality bar and restaurant food supplies, we reduce our contributions to landfills by recycling almost 90 percent of our waste. Since we revamped our recycling efforts in Arizona in September 2010, we have recycled more than 120 tons of waste. In Florida, our recycling efforts prevent more than 140 tons of waste from going to landfills each year, and our zero-citrus-waste program provides nearly 30,000 tons of citrus peels and seeds to farmers to use as all-natural feed yearly. Not only do human customers get to taste the goodness of our citrus, but animals are provided with quality citrus, too!
Once our healthy products are shipped, people who use our sustainable products are encouraged to do their part in sustainability, too. All our bottles are recyclable, as well as the carton packaging that’s made with recycled content itself.
